Made from stuff collected in Cornwall....

As mentioned in an earlier post, here is the finished creation of my boat and fishermen made from collected items on the beaches of Cornwall!

Marks and Spencer

I had a stall at a charity event Marks and Spencer evening in the Banbury store a couple of weeks ago.

Talked to lots of people and everyone was generally interested! Picture not too good as only had my phone there.

Cornwall

Had a lovely week by the sea in Cornwall! Stayed in Fowey, a very pretty town with a harbour and lots of galleries/ small shops. I collected a bag full of stuff on the beach, which was a highlight :)

And now I'm busy making a boat and characters from it (pictures will follow soon ish)

Cirencester Craft market

I had a stall at the Cirencester craft market a few weekends ago, it was slow but a really nice space to be in and lots of good comments and interest in my work.

Liverpool

The weekend in Liverpool was great! The book fair was a little quiet but saw lots of different books and people and stuff.

Liverpool Artists book fair

I will be travelling to Liverpool later today, myself and my friend Lindsay are having a stall at the Artists book fair, looking forward to seeing lots of different books and printed items!

I have been busy getting work ready (above), but thought I should get my blog going in case people take my card and view it, hint hint!

I thought I would show a bit of the space I work in, probably my 2 favourite areas! My dear sewing machine :)

and some of the things I collect. The two old bears that I acquired were actually found in a skip in France and some nice person took them home to enjoy christmas by the fire, true story. And it would make a good story too!
